She's made it clear in interviews that she was born in 1973. When she first started modeling, her modeling agency put a younger age on her resume. They thought she would book more jobs if they thought she was younger.

So technically she started acting in her late 20s. i knew of actresses starting after 25, but very few make it starting in late 20s let alone after 30. she better hurry up, and prove herself as an actress cause hotness dont last forever.

I think a lot of models turn to acting in their late twenties. Famke Janssen didn't land a role until she was 27 and her first significant role wasn't until she was 30.
