I have too say I think Sheridan is a very good singer, as seen in the Two Pints musical, vas2000tly superior to Aguilara (more pretty too) and I hope it is not the last time that she sings.

Saw the show in the west end today (and also the 1c84original production at the Menier Chocolate Factory before it got the transfer). Yes, Sheridan is a delight in this role. There is a little lack of power behind some of her higher notes - but that doesnt matter becuase she thunders out the important ones in suddenly seymour - which is the most important thing!
Ellen Greene cant be matched, but Sheridan is truely fabulous in this role - get along the Duke of York's and see it!!!

To hear just how good a singer Sheridan is, I thoroughly recommend that everyone goes to see 'Little Shop of Horrors' at the Duke of York's Theatre in London's West End! She is playing the leading lady 'Audrey', and is absolutely amazing! The comedy/musical has been receiving rave reviews since it openened at the Menier Theatre in November 2006, and because it was a sell-out season and earned standing ovations for every performance, this cult show has been transferred to the West End until September 2007, where the brilliant cast have now been joined by Alistair McGowan as The Dentist.
Sheridan is a revelation, and she has received incredible, written reviews, singing her praises, saying she is a 'comic genius', and has 'impeccable comic-timing'. She makes her character so believable, and can switch effortlessly from comedy to pathos, especially in her song 'Somewhere that's Green', where one minute you're laughing with her and then she has you in tears as she dreams of getting away from 'Skid Row'. The Stage reviewer writes, " Sheridan Smith is, quite frankly, superb.. In a season dominated by leading ladies, Smith leads the way" ! Don't miss it!(Check out www.littleshopthemusical.com)
