First of all, I want to congratulate the lovely Miss Octavia Spencer on her well-deserved Oscar. She took The Help to a whole new level with her outstanding performance. Secondly, I just saw a picture of Octavia with Sandra Bullock and there was so much "energy" in the pic I couldn't help but think how great it would be if they made a movie together! What do you think?

Sandra Bullock and Octavia Spencer have worked together but Ms. Bullock was behind the camera directing her. I agree with you, it would be lovely to see them work together in a worthy project. Someone made a negative comment about Ms. Spencer receiving a standing ovation from her peers. Perhaps the poster does not understand that Octavia Spence but worked in the industry for years, made tons of friends in the business and collected a great deal of good will. I know one Academy voter who told me how highly respected she is within Hollywood. I think this win will open many doors for her in the future. -

Thank you digitaldiva for pointing that out to me. Are you talking about "Making Sandwiches"? I also did some research and found out that Spencer's first role was actually in Bullock's A Time to Kill. She also appeared in Miss Congeniality 2. Guess I should have done my research before posting on this board

I thought your post was lovely, postive and observant as opposed to some of the negative ones that cropped up on this board. Spencer and Bullock are friends and have tremendous chemistry. Let's hope they do more work together in the future.
