You should have been nominated over Salma Hayek, who already gets the recognition for producing the show and really just played herselfyou were what the guest star categories are all about!
(you frankly should have won for Halfway Home as well, but it is less high-profile) -

thanks. Don. You know what, I really can't complain about anything from UB. They were the absolute best group of people to work with and they treated me really well. The writers and producers did put me up for Emmy consideration, but ultimately, other actors have to vote for you. I'm so proud of the show and hope they sweep in all categories they're up for.

U were FANTASTIC on UB. I agree w Don that it was selfish/self serving 4 Salma to nom herself. U were great !
So the other actors would pic Salma 4 1c84her name & not the scenes? Shame on them.

I have nothing but respect and admiration for Salma, because she is amazing for creating such a brilliant and enjoyable show (which has been sadly lacking Octavia this year!! They should really have no excuse bringing you back some time soon now that they have basically gotten rid of three characters). I'm not sure how the Emmy voters' minds work, but I do know that Octavia rocks & clearly made a lasting impression. Keep up the good work!

This week's security guard, LaManda, would have been a perfect role for Constance. Now that she's lost her job with Immigration it'd be totally feasible for her to take a job as a rent-a-cop. I still think she'd be perfect as a surrogate mother for Wilhelmina and Bradford's posthumous baby.
