I agree that Rick hasn't had plastic surgery to combat aging.
The only thing I think he's had done (years ago) was the removal of bags under his eyes. When I first became a fan of his, back in the eighties, he did have those.
He was, and still is, gorgeous.

Uuuuuh..the "removal of bags under his eyes," IS PLASTIC SURGERY.
And, I'm not so sure he doesn't have a weave or extensions or some kind of hair "system." He sure has a lot of thick looking hair for 58.

What's that supposed to mean? My grandpa had thick hair right up until the day he died. And believe me, he lived longer than 58.

Which doesn't make any sense because it assumes all men suffer from alopecia by the time they're 58. Which isn't true at all.

when my dad died at 75, he had great hairi dont' believe that he has extentions, yes he probably colours it, but other then that..
my brother in law has a huge bald spot on the top of his head..and he's 41, but, that's my brother in law.but i've known men with great thick hair, and men with thinning hair..it's all in the genes, and a guy that ends up bald, usually starts in the teensor early 20's

Don..Rick still has bags under his eyesthey show up more with LACK of sleep. He is a busy man. Not sure if he has had anything done throughout the yearsBut Rick does show signs of normal aging. But he has a youthful appearance due to his "style" he has.
And the hair thing. Go take a look at his older pics. He had thicker hair in the past. BUT you can retain thick hair way up in the ages. All depends on your Genes.
                I just don't worry about all that.he is a Singer/guitarist. Not a model.

My father is in his 60s and still has thick hair which he keeps very short or else it will get crazy out of hand.
De Niro at 70 also doesn't look to be suffering from alopecia and I doubt he wears weaves.

I am a 32 year old male (soon to be 33), and I look older than this guy! I know it's partly my own fault as I haven't exactly lead the healthiest lifestyle possible up to now, but I still can't help feeling a bit jealous

I'm 58 We don't all become hags when we hit 55. LOL. I think Rick looks just right for his age and absolutely beautiful. I think he looks better now than when he was young. He's developed more character to his face. I do think genes have a lot to do with how paople look.
I'd be hard put to find someone as attractive as Rick Springfield.

an actor on y and rhe will be 59 next month..and he looks great..as does johnathan snieder..(sp)it all depends on the person.
there were these two actors who played the same role on atwt, one was benjamin hendricksonhe committed suicide and they cut his role out.but he had problems the last couple of years that he was doing the role, so they replaced him a couple of timescan't remember the first replacement..but the second was randolph mantooth who used to be on emergency
in real lif1c84e randy was 5 years older then benyet randy looked way younger then ben did
so it all depends on the person.
                        susan
i saw him last night on nancy drew, i have season two, can't figure why they recasted ned, and changed the story.but you know what i think that he looks so much better now, then he did 30 some odd years ago

I have seen RICK in person also. He does have normal aging going on..but I do believe it is his..spirit that keeps him young. He doesn't dress OLD>>his hair style is young looking..and he is very fit. All about how you live your life too. Remember the 50's..are just not the same anymore. Most people are aging better now. V

I just saw him a few hours ago in concert, up close and VERY personal: he was standing on my table, drenched in sweat, laughing, singing and playing guitar!! I had both his handsome face and his fine posterior directly in front of me and let me just tell you all that the man has aged WELL!! And he puts on just as awesome a concert today as when I first saw him over 20 years ago when he was on the Tao tour.
