I actually agree and I am a (straight and married dude in case this is important) dude who thought Rick was a douche in the 80s though I did love "Jessie's Girl." Excellent tune. His early new wave stuff was great. I think he looks great for a guy in his mid-sixties (ffs), and he still has a very devoted fan base and plays his shows with the talent that a true musician should have bravo for him.

To the original poster. Jealous much? Have you ever been to his concert? He puts on an awesome show, still sounds and looks good, gives his fans 150% and is very unappreciated by the music industry!

Rick Springfield is an artist. He also knows that singing that awesome song will please his fansit brings it all back to the days when we hung his posters on our walls:) He is a beautiful man; looks pretty damn spectacular for his age and can move. Love his energy and will always be a fan.

Is there anything more pathetic than younger people who hate on older people
              staying young looking and hot?????
He actually proves you can be HOT after 50 actually SMOKIN hot after 60.
              That should give YOU hope.
I was NEVER a Springfield fan. HATED his music.
Now, after seeing him on Californication.. he is SMOKIN HOT!!!
Of course I just turned 47. so, I notice when others who are over 40
still are still hot. The older you get, when you see somebody who is
older than yourself that still looks AMAZING for any age, one tends to notice this kind of thing
              and he is REAALLLLLY HOT!!!

Trolls are more pathetic than just about anything. The guy looks terrific - kudos to him for keeping fit and attractive. He can still deliver the goods as an entertainer. You have a problem with that? Shut your face and keep it to yourself. I can only imagine what the OP looks like but I'm sure that whatever his age he can't hold a candle to Springfield. And whenever you read posts deriding people's ages and the
"appropriateness" of their behavior, it's pretty certain that they're young, inactive and very stupid.

                  EXACTLY right!!!!
I always laugh when somebody goes on about how somebody over 40 years old is acting.
As if at some magic age, we are supposed to sit down and act all prim and
                  proper.
NO thank you I will continue to be myself, and act as young as I feel.
                  (and look)

As opposed to Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Little Richard, The Monkees, Bobby Rydell, Bobby Vinton, many of the doo-wop and rock singers from the 1960s, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Paul McCartney etc. etc. etc.
People still want to see the older stars, people want to relive their youth. And the performers still need to make a living. No pensions or 401k for them, probably bad spending habits for some, no company matched health insurance, etc.
