Real date of birth?

I've read in various places December 29, 1937, but a couple other websites say December 19, 1937.
Then, in Ms. Steele's quote section she says she was apparently born on the same day as Fellini, who was born on January 20 so that would mean she was either born January 20, 1937, or January 20, 1938.
Anyway to clear up the confusion on this? Doesn't make any sense to me.

She also says she was born in Ireland and sites have her listed as being born in England, weird.
