ditto. albeit he is uncredited the whole series, i still think this is his most memorable role.

i liked him in little monsters as the dad of fred savage's character. he was very natural, charming, and believable.

I will always love him as Marv in "Home Alone". He and Joe Pesci make a very funny team together. He also gave a good performance in the first "City Slickers" movie. Didn't care for either of the sequels to these movies, though I don't fault Stern for that.

I LOVE Daniel Stern because he can be threatening, funny, lovable, or all at the same time.
I just saw him in this TV movie called Weekend War and, although it wasnt great, he was so endearing and watchable. I wish he'd make more movies.
I also just watched Very Bad Things and he was BRILLIANT in that as well.

Hands down for me its his role in City Slickers 2. His skit on Mitch(Crystal) sucking the poison out of his ass when he gets bit by the snake is hilarious. That whole movies is great and I still watch it over and over to this day.

we had it on video when i was a kid, and i watched it anytime my parents weren't home.
it took me only 20 years to realize, that he's the guy from "city slickers" and "home alone".
(and why the hell is he uncredited on "the wonder years"?!)
