Agreed. He is one of a few great 80's actors that need some more work. He has completely disappeared from UK screens.
Other actors presumed missing:
Steve Guttenberg
Tom Selleck
John Lithgow
Peter Weller

I saw Peter Weller on the historian channel about Rome the other day, and then my friend told me, he's a professor at a University. Robocop is teaching history now, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Weller

Rick Moranis doesn't really want any more work. After the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" movies, he's more or less set for life, so he's practically retired from acting.
I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me!
WHY
didn't you believe me?! -

I agree, Stern has been a favorite of mine in all of his movies. He was great in Celtic Pride; "Oh thats just Jimmy whipping up a bunt cake."
However, if you are a Tom Selleck fan, try the Jesie Stone movies. I was suprised at how much I enjoyed them, its Magnum P.I. meets small East coast town A+ -

Add Joe Pesci to that list too. the last time i saw him was when he had a small part in The Good Shepherd. and maybe add Arsenio Hall and Gene Wilder.
Yeah, those guys are awesome, definetely need to see more of them. I hope to see Stern in something new.
