"There are a lot of media people who need to chill the hell out. "
No doubt.
" Comparing Bush or Obama to Hitler is ignorant. "
Probably. But you must prove wrong with evidence and logical arguments. If you can't, then, well, you're just making noise. Granted, I believe you can. I believe Obama is trying to do the right thing, just as Bush did. Unfortunately, I think Hitler and Staling also woke up each morning convinced they were doing the right thing. Good intentions doesn't impress me much. That said, I do believe our current president wants to do the right thing.
"Wanting 'My country back' is code for white male dominance."
I hightly doubt that is the case. Most people do not want to repeat the mistakes htis country has made. But they don't want to over-react to those mistakes and do things that are also destructive. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a lot of white people who simply want 'white male dominance' in the country. Perhaps you are simply seeing what you want to see, but I think most white men are comfortable having a black man or white woman for a boss if she is competent. A very tiny few white men want the KKK running the country.
"He's a decent human being, one of god's children (for those claiming to be christian) trying to solve many issues that have been neglected for decades"
Do not presume to say what Christianity is about if you don't know it. In fact, Jesus Christ offended MANY people (hence, his crucifixion). If he simply came to say we are all god's chilren and ought to get along, nobody would have had a problem with him. Unfortuantely, Christ made it clear that those who don't follow him are NOT god's Children. In fact, he went so far as to say that those who opposed him were the devil's children (John 8:44). Not very politically correct? Yeah, I'd say so, but I rather doubt the creator of the universe really cares whether or not his words are acceptable to contemporary American morality or not. Sorry if the God of Christianity isn't Santa Claus or the Genie from Alladin. But that is the way it is. He who is he is.
"I want sewers, I want roads to connect me to other towns, I want firemen and policemen, I want public school teachers to try to teach our children to be literate, thinking human beings. I want my medical school graduate doctor to be able to treat me and not have to consult with a high school graduate in a cubicle in Fargo about what he can or can't do to heal what ails me."
Everyone wants those things. The gov't doesn't need to take a third (or more) of our money to provide them. -

Good on him, it's great to see someone draw such obviousness to the insanity of the tea party, like Bill Maher said "the right moved into a nuthouse". It'll be a breath of fresh air to see a rally that isn't driven by fear, hate and idiocy

A third of our money is nothing compared to other countries. We have the lowest tax rate of any modern country and we provide less then any other country. Our opinion of public services are so low in this country because they are the first thing to be cut.

this guy has been the most vocal demagogue of tv in the past decade, and suddenly he wants to host a rally against it?
what a fickle fool.
yeah and make a few jokes about unpopular democrats to trick the idiots into thinking he doesn't take sides. an infant could see through that.
the first thing he needs to do is to acknowledge his past as one of the biggest mouthpiece and political puppet of the democratic party. then i'll be able to take him seriously. otherwise it'd be like george w bush coming out one day and saying he's against the iraq war.
this stewart homo has lost all credibility these days. -

Just because he a liberal political satirist doesn't mean he isn't against hyperbolic statements in the media. His show has mostly been about making fun of the media and specifically the 24 hour news channels for making hyperbolic statements and amplifying everything. Sure he may focus on fox to much but that wasn't because he was a democratic mouth piece that is just because he is liberal. The other few jokes aren't to convince idiots he doesn't take sides its obvious he is on the left but how do you not make fun of politicians like Grayson, as well as CNN and MSNBC they are terrible and use hyperbolic comments regularly as well. You can have a political opinion and still speak out against hyperbolic statements from the left and right.

You want someone to suffer eternal, excruciating torment because he disagrees with you politically? No decent person would wish Hell on
anyone
. Nobody deserves to burn for billions upon billions of years for actions done within a 70-80 year lifespan. Either you are a sick sadist or you fail to understand the concept of eternity. I hope it's the latter.

I adressed your hatefilled post in the thread you've created with this same nonsense. Although I do wonder what makes you hate a satirist so much. It's not healthy to be so adverse to humor, especially the brilliant humor of the daily show.
All you need to do is not watch it. -

Ah yes, because people speaking out and protesting what they see as wrong is "anti-American" if it doesn't comport to your vision of the People's Glorious Revolutionary Democratic Socialist Worker's Party of the Union of Socialist States of America Too bad the Kommie Kookie Killary Klinton lost.
You and all of your pathetic wants at the expense of the (empty) public coffers. Sack up and take care 2000of your own life.
House and Gibbs are my role models!!!
