I remember every now and then the disco-radio station KISS 108 FM in Boston (who was one of the biggest promoters in Summer's career, and she was always indebted to them - headlining many of their charity events whenever they asked) used to play the 12" singles of Summer's new hits from Geffen. Most of these were given as promos (and never available for retail) while others were eventually added to the play list and sold at retail. Many of these I missed out on when I had the chance to buy them, none of them (to my knowledge) made it to CD.
That said, I was thrilled to come across these on Youtube. Just the opening bars brought me back to 1980-89. I thank everyone who posted these rare gems.
Here is what I found on Youtube. Most of these were played in clubs only, or on selected radio stations (like Boston's KISS 108) from time to time if you were lucky enough to hear them! Enjoy..
(On the Youtube search bar, just put in: Donna Summer + the title of the song + 'extended' or 12" next to the title).
1980 - "The Wanderer" (Don't know if this is the 'official' one, but sounds exactly the same way I remember it on the radio. I don't think the 12" was available for retail - promo/club play only.)
1984 - "I'm Free", "Eyes", "Supernatural Love"
1987 - "All Systems Go", "Dinner With Gershwin"*- "Dinner" I do own the vinyl copy, and this was played regularly on KISS 108. Never released on CD, to my knowledge.
Paul Ryan's proposal is a budget that goes against the teachings of Jesus.

I noticed those videos on youtube. There is also a 12" of Cold Love as well.
The 12" for The Wanderer is obviously the first thing ever issued on Geffen Records, because the Geffen logo isn't on the disc it has the WB logo. -

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Geffen her label in the US and WB her label in Europe, etc.? So maybe this is a 12" which was ONLY released outside the US, and never released in the US (but somehow leaked to radio/clubs)?

You could be right. In fact, your explanation makes more sense. I remember when the single and album came out, but I don't recall the 12" possibly it was released in the U.S., but I just don't know. Also, I'm having a hard time finding old Billboard magazines to look through, that would answer the question.

Don't forget, back then it was a big deal if a DJ at a club in the US got a 12" from Europe, and played it in his club. (There was no internet, there was no ebay/amazon). So I wouldn't be surprised if this was solely a European release, and a handful of US DJs got their hands on it!

There are no 12" extended mixes of "The Wanderer" or "Cold Love". I guess Geffen figured since it was a rock album and not disco that they didn't need extended mixes. If there are 12" promos out there, they only include the album versions of the tracks.
