"On The Radio" is my favorite Donna Summer tune (the long version of the song).

I find it very hard to pick just one song as a favorite. So many of her songs and albums (or album "sides" back in the day) hold memories of certain times and places But if someone put a gun to my head and said "PICK ONE" I'd say Heaven Knows.
As a single (45 rpm) it's one of the best meeting of singer, song and production. From the swirling strings in the beginging blending seamlessly into a hot drum/bass line, to the interplay of female and male voices. Then there is the "raise yo' hands in the air" chorus. It's probably the happiest sounding song about a troubled relationship on record!
Then there's the looong version
Not so much a remix or extended version, but a SUITE! MacArthur Park Suite to be exact. Side 4 of Live and More was a 17+ minute aural masterpiece!

I'd pick anything from 1975 to 1980, god I miss that era. When I look at the world now, music included I want to put a gun to my head. Those were great times, the music was happy and not so harsh and depressing as today.

It really is a great song. It would have been fun if she did a whole 'radio' concept for the album, with songs which referenced radio back then. 'On The Radio', 'Radio Ga-Ga', 'Video Killed the Radio Star', etc. Summer could have had quite a fun time with an album such as this!
Paul Ryan's proposal is a budget that goes against the teachings of Jesus.
