Condonmeans "condom" in spanish.
Does that mean that Sunjata is his middle name? Because not many americans carry two last names.

Condon (Irish Condn) is a surname that originated in Ireland, and now most common in counties Cork, Limerick and Tipperary. The name is derived from the Anglo-Norman name de Caunteton, which came to Ireland in the 12th Century with the invader Nicholas de Caunteton. (Wikipedia)
His profile says his heritage is African-American, German & Irish. Doesn't say he's Latinoalthough many Latinos from Puerto Rico, Cuba & the Dominican Republic are of African descent (from slaves rather than Spaniards).

I know that Wikipedia lists Sunjata as his middle name but no one who knew him from his student days in Chicago said that he used it until he started acting. He was always just Danny Condon and he got his MFA under Condon. -

it says in his bio that his adoptive other gave him the middle name of Sunjatait's a West African name meaning "hungry lion" from an ancient African king of Mali (a West African country.) I think it's unique and beautiful.
