Likeness to Barack Obama

He looks like he and Prez O could be in the same family, definitely cousins, possibally brothers. But does he acually LOOK like our president? No. He's way hunkier, although I do like our president and will vote him in again in 2012, but seriously. They don't look enough alike to say that they could be twins or something. Although, in most movies based on real life, the actors playing the real life characters usually look a lot "sexier" or more glamorous than the people they're playing, so yeah, in that respect, I can see him playing Obama in a movie. I'm sure he'd take the role with honor, assuming Prez O doesn't royally screw anything up during his 2 terms in office lol. Which I doubt he will haha.
But it does get annoying when whites liken blacks to other blacks just because they're the same race, or do that to other races out of lazy ignorance. Like how they replaced Terrance Howard with Don Cheadle in Iron Man 2. WTF???!!!??? Those two men look NOTHING alike and in this case, the better looking one is also the better actor, and got replaced by a guy who looks nothing like him. Why? Because they're both Black? I mean jeeze, even the most ignorant person can see they look nothing alike! So wtf! Any way, this guy & Obama look like relatives but not twins lol. This guy does look like the Hollywood version of Obama though haha.
BTW springpetal, Sunjata never said he didn't like Obama. While he was running for office he had questions about his power to really make a difference in our "systemically ill" government and socib68ety, and he made it
very
clear that he wasn't for McCain in the slightest. In fact, he said he was voting for somebody named Cynthia McKinney who I guess he personally knows, cause I don't know her. Here's the video where he talks about it:
BTW after seeing how nerdy and hyper he sounds when he talks, I'm actually a little less attracted to him lol. I like it when guys sound cool, calm & collected when they talk, like they've got it all under control and they have a silent strength about them mixed with that fun charming good sense of humor and charismatic personality that just commands a room in a bright sunny way lol. He kind've reminded me of the uptight hi-strung dweeby overly preppy annoying snots I classed with back in private school who's mummy's constantly coddled, smothered and wiped their noses for them. It's not his fault. People are all different, but something in me just switched off when I watched him in real life haha. It was like "Oh he's so hot, sexy & gorgeous! To oh he's kind've eh actually lol" I mean, I like his political passion haha. But he just seems so flamboyant when he expresses himself here lol, take a look:
Maybe it's the high pitch of his voice and the extravagant gayish expressions on his face mixed with hearing him just rant on and on about the government and 9/11 conspiracies that just sounds sort of, I dunno, hi-strung or hyper or something lol. I'm just not use to that or being attracted to that haha ^_^ So now he seems more like a sibling than a boyfriend haha. Whatever lol. At least that means he's obviously a really good actor to have fooled me into thinking he was Don Juan or Cassanova just by watching him in Lifetime movies haha.

Yeah I find his passion and expressiveness to be his most sexy attribute. Funny how what turns one girl off can make the next girls panties moist lol
2000
But you lost me with your description of his delivery. Seems 100% manly to me. And what an intellect to boot! Not to mention his courage and bravery in speaking out about something most "men" are too scared to even comment on. There's nothing more alpha male than the boldness to speak truth to power, especially on behalf of those whose voices are not being heard. So in short, you are entitled to your opinion, even if it's wrong lol

And OMG I just realized you posted his nyccan speech as an example of what you consider flamboyant? Oh nooooooo darling. That speech was testosterone driven righteous indignation and it won over the hearts (and minds) of every female co-worker in my office. You couldn't have picked a worse example to support your point I'm afraid lol Not to mentioned he looked kinda exxxtra ripped in that fitted sweater he had on. Mmm. Gorgeous.

Why do people immediately think of Pres-O whenever they see a man that is black and white?
I don't see it at all. But Daniel is goregeous anyway.

I so agree. Why do we black folks or multi-ethnic folks always have to look like some other black folk? The gorgeous Mr. Sunjata does not resemble the President at all. President Obama is handsome. And Will Smith doesn't resemble the President either. He also doesn't resemble Muhammad Ali, even in Ali's younger days, but he still portrayed him. Now tennis player Jo Wilfried Tsonga does resemble a young Muhammad Ali, but I digress.

Jeeze, I can see people saying no but not the strong disagreement. I see Obama in this guy everytime I see him. I think he talks like him too. It's not a 100% resemblence but it was the whole reason I came to his imdb page haha.

He looks nothing like obama. Daniel is extremely good looking while "O"verrated is not. Will Smith with his jug ears looks more like obama but even Will Smith is better looking (but nowhere near as handsome as Daniel).

They always cast people in biopics who look nothing like the person they're playing and are way hotter than the person they're playing ever was in real life. So I don't see why Daniel couldn't play Barack. The only recent biopic casting I've seen where the person really resembles the one they're portraying is Hilary Swank in the upcoming Amelia Earheart movie. And that's no compliment to poor Amelia . . .
