As a straight guy…

Wow, I guess I can see the opinion of the annoyed poster. It does sort of make sense. In all honesty, I guess it is sort of bothersome that guys feel the need to say "I'm comfortable enough with my sexuality". Honestly, if you're a straight guy and you're saying that I'm going to assume that anyway. As for it being the most annoying thing in the world: In my opinion it does not rank high up there. In fact, it's probably one of the LEAST annoying things to me. IF some guy wants to spout off the fact that he's better than most straight men in this regard, then by all means I say let him. We have enough straight guys out there who are trying to say they're better than other straight men for reasons that wouldn't actually be qualified soKudos to the poster I guess. We need more people like you in the world.
As a gay man I definitely notice when woman are beautiful and I say it. I think the difference between me saying a woman is beautiful and straight guy saying it is I would never entertain the notion of having sex with her and she also doesn't arouse me. So yea, I think I missed my point. I was blathering. Sorry -

Good for you for speaking up. I have to agree with you. I don't know why it's so taboo for guys to comment on another guy's attractiveness (or lack thereof). Is it so impossible to be impartial for two seconds and make a judgment on whether or not a guy looks good? Can you imagine two guys getting ready to go out with their girls dancing or something and one of them says, "How do I look?" and the other says, "I can't answer that or I'll be gay."

I was married to a man who had no problem when we were watching TV or a movie saying "man that guys good looking", now whether he said it in front of his Navy buddies or not, I don't know! I once went to the front desk to greet someone who was there to see me, when she turned and smiled at me and stuck out her hand, my jaw almost hit the floor - she was that beautiful. I went back in the office to get something and said "you guys have to find a reason to walk by the front desk and look at this woman, she's insanely beautiful"
Physical beauty is physical beauty male or female, some folks gots it and some folks don't - (most don't)

Not mad with you at all, man! I saw him on
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
and was like
"Damn! Who is HE???"
Don't know how I ever missed him. Very handsome and classy-looking man.

Well, that is nice to hear because I think he is so sexy I get a toothache just looking at him and yes I am gay believe me I would not kick him out of my bed, not that I have a chance in hell of getting him in but I can dream.
