As soon as Cat came onto the show i thought ok she's pretty, then she tried to hurt kimberly and it was cats fault that kimberly fell off the beam and hurt her self, AND THEN kimberly left the show and i thought no way am i going to watch it now, kimberly was my fav from the 1st eppesode and after she left there was no way i was gonna watch it anymore, 1st trini, zack and jason leave, now kimberly? I thought no way, and then i watched the epposode after kimberly left to see what happend and cat takes her place? AFTER HURTING KIMBERLY? I never saw another eppesode after that. I brought seasons 1 2 and 3 from ebay and i still get upset when kimberly leaves LOL

A few things to consider;- Kat only did those things because she'd been brainwashed. Same as with Tommy, except that Kat snapped out of it on her own.
- Kat was willing to give herself up to Zedd and Rita on two separate occasions. The first time, she was able to recover the Pink coin.
Who better to take Kim's place?
Kat was a great Ranger and Catherine Sutherland did an amazing job as her.

Well, I think Amy Jo/Kimberly is much prettier that Cat/Kat. Brunettes are always way more attractive to me. Kat had that bland light Blonde pale complexion look that I really don't care for.
I thought the Kat character was very boring and Catherine really cannot act. Yes Power Rangers isn't Shakespearian but damnit but SOME feeling in your voice.

Its not that16d0 she replaced the original, is because she's a lousy excuse for a character/Power Ranger. She didn't do anything. She was a ranger from MMPR to Turbo and wasted space. Never shown fighting unmorphed, I mean come on. Catherine is a horrid actor. Yes I know, its Power Rangers, but she is so monotone she makes Zordan sound enthusiastic.
Aisha, Adam and Rocky replaced Trini, Zack and Jason and were very much well received. Katherine just sucked.

"She didn't do anything" If she didn't have done anything, what is doing something for you?
"Never shown fighting unmorphed" Perhaps that happened with everyone on the time Kat was the Pink Ranger. Only season 1 and 2 showed more fighting without the costumes.

Tommy is my favorite ranger. I know that sounds cliche and typical (he's everyone's favorite) but he is at least, as the Green and White ranger. He overstayed his welcome as the Red Zeo/Turbo ranger. But was great addition as the 2000Black Dino ranger. You can really tell that Jason David Frank improved immensely as an actor. I think that may be because he's finally playing someone close to his actual age, rather than a teenager. He was already married with kids when he first came on PR for Christ's sake! Than again, 21 (thats how old he was in 1993 I think, correct me I'm wrong) is not that old but stilllol
Kimberly is not really my favorite ranger, but she does gymnastics and I like gymnastics. lol Plus she's really cute, so sue me.

No, I was expecting to see someone who didn't look bored delivering their lines. Of course I didn't expect to see a Kimberly clone and I know their different in personality, why wouldn't she be; Adam, Aisha and Rocky were nothing like their predecessors. You call it boring, I call it being a quiet personality. Just need to watch the things in a neutral way: Adam could sound really boring on delivering his lines from some Zack fans, for eg.
And speaking about Aisha she was a little bit different in the first episodes to become almost a clone of Kimberly later -_-'' -

Huh? Aisha seemed the same to me. She was like a mediator, mostly calm, and had a little funky vibe to her. Her clothing changed though - not badly but the outfits started to show a little more skin. I liked her.
I am as big a fan of Kim as any other Kim fan, but while I was always mad Amy left the show, I gave Catherine a shot. She looked boring and didn't do much for me. She did start to look much hotter up till she left in Turbo. She didn't do much as a fighter and her character wasn't much fun to me.
Thing I hated about season 3 the most was the Ninja costumes weren't like the movie because they covered the face and you knew it wasn't the actors (you could always tell Aisha wasn't in the suit cuz she can't backflip or anything, Zeo had the same problem. Season 1 and 2 had the action. Zack, Trini, Adam, Tommy, Jason, Billy, and Kim always impressed me. I watched an old episode last night and Thuy did the splits during her move. Those were the days. -

Season 1 and 2 were the only seasons where the rangers fight unmorphed.
If you're talking as a Power Ranger Morphed than Katherine really was a good fighter. She kicked ass, just need to watch the episodes to see that. I agree that she wasn't as fun to watch as Kimberly but why always compare Katherine with her?
I really liked season 3 but for Kimberly was definitely her worst season, it made her almost useless as a ranger.. Always apart from the group. I like her much more in season 1. -

The pink ones were always my favorite. I stopped watching after Turbo, I vaguely remember the space one though so it might have been after that one. Kim was hot, but I think I started to like Kat better her accent wasa nice charm too

While I didn't like the fact that Kim had to leave, I tried to warm up to Katherine, but I just couldn't do itespecially after she was trying to break up Tommy and Kim (she was evil, yeah, but regardless, it still stuck with me).
Although I have no ill will toward Catherine Sutherland; I think she's a fantastic actress (she's
gotta
be for making an Australian-lover like myself hate her character.
) and I wish her much success in the future.
