I believe in effective communication. But, in the same light understand that there are people that perhaps have a different level of communicating than myself. That is what makes life interesting. There are so many levels of communication out there and we can pick the level we would like to be at or a part of. The world is an Oyster; pick your pearl.

I Googled you and see you are an author:) I am just a college professor:) I will certainly look up your writings and support you in your career. You write very beautifully and I wish that I had your same skill!!!
At any rate, it seems that we both have an appreciation for Jay Tavare. He is obviously a talented actor and artist, as well as a very nice person.

Thank you very much for the compliment. I guess it comes out in my comments that I am a practicing writer. Have written various types of material for several years. And, writing16d0 is my passion in life. I am presently writing a romance novel that was due out the end of February, but I needed to take a break. So, I took a month off from writing to clear my head, lets say. I also write poetry and random prose, and some of it is posted on my website. Yes, I do admire Jay Tavare a great deal. I feel he is a credit to his community. I admire the fact that he gives back to the community, in ways that are useful, and not merely for show. If I am finished with my novel in time, my plans are to try and help out with his anelder.org program this year at the Elder's Annual Rug Sale, that is given to help support the elders of his community. Will be tight in the timing, but I will see. Hope to be able to fly out for a couple of days, anyway.
What you do as a college professor is a blessing to your community. I have great pride in the teachers of our society. I was once a practicing preschool teacher. It is a great joy to teach children at such an impressionable age. They are like sponges and learn everything you can possibly teach them. It is my feeling that a teacher's pay scale does not match what they give the community, but it is a noble profession, and there is pride in knowing that you fill the need for great teachers. Education is the key to life success.

I think the people who don't understand volunteerism and giving back without self-gain are those that don't do it. Therefore, they think those people involved in charitable works and helping others must have an ulterior motive such as money. They should give it a try and see how humbling and rewarding it is for your heart and soul!

That is true. And then there are those who just like to stir things up because they have nothing better to do with themselves. Someone who is hanging around these message boards just to post something negative about the artists obviously lack something in their own lives. Can you imagine the type of person who just goes through these message boards just to post something negative?
Jay is a talented actor and artist. There a many of us who support him and would love to see him in a variety of roles and MORE roles. -

Jay Tavare is not only a wonderful actor, but he is a kind and gracious man. As for AllRightsReserved, you spread nothing but slander. This is the same poster that stated that Jay was "abusive." Like come on dude, it isn't even funny. People who have known him personally says otherwise. His work in the community says otherwise. Just give it up, nobody on here believes anything you say.
As for him being a lead actor, he should definitely be given more roles. He has so much talent not only to play a native american, but other roles as well. Additionally, it would have been wonderful to have seen him in Cowboys and Aliens. -

Well said! I just can't imagine what kind of loser lurks around the message boards of someone that they claim not to like and posts such things. It sounds like either some fat jealous man who does nothing but sit by himself at the computer all day or some crazy woman with a fatal attraction crush. -

Jay's acting is no where near being LEAD ACTOR quality. Less than 100 people would pay to see him in a lead position IF a studio decided to hire him. He isn't even on the D list of actors. Most ppl in their early 50s do not get that many roles. I have to say I was shocked and couldn't stop laughing at his last role in Longmire which was laughingly over acting and he was stiff in his movements.
