I not being rude when I say, I don't really care what you think. I have been on this board only for a month or so where they have been at this tit for tat for a whole year and no matter who has come to defend Jay they get the mob treatment by the small group of liars that you are now talking to.
The difference between I and them is I admit to being a fan? What is their excuse???
They call Jay a con man of the spirit, I say why spend 5 years lurking on a guy you look so poorly at??? It makes no sense, maybe you see more than I do, but I have yet to understand how you can have an obsession with a man you call so many names and accuse of so much??
What do you think is their motives?
Find that answer and you will see through all the BS here.
You seem to be wise, I don't think you need any help so good luck on your own.
If I don't like someone I never think of them, or study them or read everything I can find on them. I certainly do not go to their forums and spend my days typing away speculating on every little trivial informaiton I can get my hand on???
Just a thought.
I already told you I stood up when I had enough. I am not here to answer questions. I told you if you really want answers you are in the wrong place and to be honest are you a Jay fan? What m238ade you notice Jay? What do you think of his acting?
You say you are aware of his charity work so you do know and have read about him. The list of all his charities are on both his my space page and his fan site.
I repeat again there is nothing to join on the fan site. If you don't post no one will see your IP address, so don't worry.
Out of 215,000 hits there has yet to be one abuse of any posters IP address.
So don't buy their lie they don't come over there because they know not one thing they claim here would stand up to the d5b4ata the Mods and the real fans have on Mr. Tavare.
Oh the funny thing is the moderators already know who they are behind the fake names on here. So it would make no difference if they had a IP address or not.lol
I am done with this mob I have no more to say for now.
Hate will never win.
Ciao bella. -

Sorry Aethelflaed, it seems Judgemenot is chafing and in a right foul mood, so I'll answer your question.
According to his site, Jay's other charitable contributions include work with Habitat for Humanity, Wolfdog and Samoyed Rescue groups. -

No problem IndigoCloud, I knew as I was typing my answer that Judgemenot was not going to be impressed but ultimately I can only tell it as I see it. And if Sofia no longer wishes to talk to me then that is a shame but so be it. Of course that doesn't mean to say that I won't be replying to her post at some point!
Thank you for the further information regarding Jay Tavare's other charitable activities. -

You're welcome Athelflaed. You might also be interested to know that (though you may have read it somewhere already) Jay has been credited both on his website and in interviews as being a screenwriter, as well as writing non-fiction articles for magazines. Exactly what he's written, sold and/or published and by whom are complete mysteries. I've asked these questions before and no one seems to have any knowledge on the subject, not even an inkling. Something else to ponder over.

Only on this forum. I've never posted anything on Jay's site, though I remember reading a post on there from someone asking the same question and it wasn't answered directly. I can understand not wanting to give out details about something that's in the works and waiting to be accepted by a company, but to my knowledge there hasn't been any mention of any writings past or present, nor plans for any future projects.

I have read an article written by Jay Tavare a few years ago where he had interviewed Jackie Chan in Venice magazine for one of his up coming films and it was well written and very interesting.
I will ask RRF if she can get that interview and post it.
I had also read in Cowboys and Indians last year, where Marcus Nispel the director of PATHFINDER says, Jay re wrote his part of Black Wing and I quote : Jay did a great service to the film.
He goes on to say how Jay changed the part for the better and how he would not play the stereo type angry red man.
The article can be found on the JayTavare.com under the Magz section. -

If I'm not mistaken, Jay said that he was a part of re-writing parts it in the interview with NAICA.
That what you saw in the movie is not the whole thing.
Jay had a lot more scene's before they cut in it.
From what I've heard in the interview, the whole character has been changed by Jay. -

Honey bun I am in the know biz. I know because I spend the time learning the facts, something your mob is lacking. I speak to folks who know Jay and have met him for real. I also don't use my own name on the fan site as most Jaybirds.
If you would make friends instead of enemies you could have known all that I do too, which by the way has been posted or talked about on the Tavern at one point or other. I have also had a chat with his manager Mr. Greenstone, to make sure I had my facts right. So you can say I've done my home work.
That is why you lot are no match for me. lol
Also what I know it's not personal, it's his life as an actor and writer. I do not intrude in other peoples private life, something you lot should practice more often.
Finally I don't really like cowards like you who hide behind fake names and try to spread lies and who speculate on other folks lives. So don't bother asking me to answer anything that I have not shared. You clear on that loser!
They can't beat you on that one, can they, LOL. -

According to his Manager he has written several screen plays that he has optioned over the years and he has made a living from it beside his acting.
Mr. Tavare has also written for several magazines and is in fact is a published writer. I have the copy of Venice Magazine and the interview with Jackie Chan and his manager confirmed that in fact Mr. Tavare did both the interview and the writing.
Now there are many reasons why a screen play may be optioned or bought by a production company and not be made into a film. I have even read that some studios or production houses may buy a screen play so it may not clash with the one they are doing or it may be shelved because of the current affairs and the story's sensitivity towards it.
Who knows exactly but there are so may reasons a screen play may or may not make it to the screen.
That does not make the writer none existent. it only means you once again don't have your story right or all the data to completely understand Hollywood and the way things work.
Then again looking at all your assumptions, WHAT'S NEW! lol -

As for the screenplay excuse.. what a way to make a living, eh? "I just wrote and sold another screenplay that's just like something else they're making so it will never get filmed!!! YES!!" .. uh.. sure. Sounds like yet another excuse among a litany of falsehoods.
Can you prove that??
