Omg i am watching Family Matters and she is on it and i thought omg she is the prettiest black girl i have ever seen. So i thought i would look her up to see what else she has done and i read that she died! That is so tragic!! She was the prettiest black girl i have ever seen and for her to die so young is so awful!!!

i didnt mean any16d0thing by that!! I just meant that i was watching her and she was so prettylike i kept forgetting that she was black!! I think black people are very pretty i was just saying that she is the prettiest i have seen!!

Well, I found "Laura" and her friend "Maxine" more attractive, but oh well. And just my opinion, "Myra" is by far

the prettiest Black girl I've seen. She's just cute ya know.
I dont see why whenever someone wants to compliment a beautiful Black woman, they have to say "Pretty BLACK girl" and just not "Pretty girl" like they would anyone else. It has a bad cononatation to it and makes it seem that being pretty is a rarity with Black females; wether you meant it or not.

Personally I thought Myrtle had it going on. She was by far the prettiest!!! Let's hear it for the Southern Belles! The others were also pretty but that Myrtle just had something specialjust something different about her

The only thing she had going for her was being light skin. Other than that, I don't see how she looked any better than Laura, because Laura has a cute face. I wonder if Myra had Laura's browner complexion would anyone be talking about her being 'prettier'. I know the way people think with a color complex. -

You guys seem a little over-sensitive to the original poster's choice of words, but I do get your point. Anyway, I always thought Michelle Thomas was very beautiful and Myra was my favorite character when I watched Family Matters as a kid. The show was a pretty big part of my childhood from when I was 6 - 15 (1989 - 1998) and I have always been really sad about Michelle's death. I miss her. It's not just the characters she portrayed, she seemed really nice.
