hah, i have to join your band of merry men, and echo everyones words on how under-rated Tim Thomerson is!
I hope that he gets some big gigs soon, as i'd love to see more of him out there on the big screen!
He deserves so much more for all his hard work and perseverence! -

I just bought and saw "Volunteers" the other day, based on your review, I loved Tim Thomersons character in it! 'This is my best friend, Mike!' (his knife) Great fun! He should do more crazy army-guy roles, heck, just more roles generally!
But I didn't really like Tom Hanks' character in that movie, what an obnoxious jerk! John Candy was good, like always.
-This is my John Hancock? -

Yeah!
Tim is super! He has been my favorite actor for years and I will probably be his number 1 fan until the day he dies! Just love him so much! I do hope that I can catch him one of these days at one of the conventions that he does. I would love to buy some more of his pictures and meet him personally. -

Tim Thomerson is fantastic as Jack Deth in the "Trancers" films. He was also excellent in "Zone Troopers" and very touching in an atypical gentle role in "Near Dark." I'm a big fan of his work and look forward to seeing him in more movies in the near future.

I totally agree! I have been a HUGE fan of Tim Tomerson since the early 1990's when I saw him in one of the TRANCERS movies. He has been in over 160 movies and TV shows so I don't think he is being ignored, but I would love to see him in more lead roles. When I joined AOL many years ago (before I realized it was so bad) my username at that time was TRANCERS!!
He has been in so many movies that he is very recognizable, but I wish more people knew WHO he is not just say that they "have seen that guy somewhere before"
I am also a BIG Full Moon Pictures fan mostly because of seeing Tim Thomerson in the Trancers and Dollman series. I would like to see jack Deth take on Radu in a new Subspecies movie (just kidding!). I would like to see him in some of Charles Band's movies again, but he now asks (I've read) too much money for that low buget (but great) company. -

I am a huge Tim Thomerson fan as well. His role as Jack Deth in the Trancers films is how I discovered the fantastic world of Charles Band's Full Moon Entertainment.
But I have also followed his non-Full Moon work and do like his persona.I think one of his most under-rated perfomances is his role in Prime Time Murder. It's hard for to believe that he started out in comedy because he can carry a serious drama or sci-fi actib68on film so well. But he was very good as the auditioning comic in the film Eddie Presley.
I saw him at a Fangoria convention in the late nineties and he did a stand up comedy routine and had the audience in stitches! He really is a awesome actor. -

Tim Thomerson is one of those actors like John Astin and Bruce Campbell who make anything they're in better, by their mere presence.
And by presence, I also mean "screen presence" I can't even really pin down what makes the very rare actors like Tim so much fun to watch perhaps it's partly because you sense that THEY are having tons of fun themselves.
If you want to improve your movie, cast Tim Thomerson. If you want to improve your movie and Tim is already in it, I have three words for you: MORE TIM THOMERSON.
