I couldn't agree more. And it was Tony Todd's performance that carried the entire hour.
I honestly think it was the best hour of Star Trek I've ever seen. And all without the special FX, action, and explosions. Just an amazing performance.

Wow. I'm ashamed to say Id' forgotten Mr. Todd played the aged Jake Sisko in that episode. I came here after seeing the TNG episode "Sins OF The Father" where he played Worf's brother, Kurn. He was wonderful in both roles.
I think Rasputin put it best when he said, "Mmm, those pastries gave me indigestion".
