Isn't there ever going to be a 4th 'Candyman' movie?

The last one sucked I thought. I don't blame the excellent Tony Todd. He is the only reason to watch the 3rd one. It premiered directly on Cable TV in 1998. Eight years ago! I liked part two however 5b4(most everyone else I know doesn't). I would like to at least see one more entry. Tony Todd will be 52 by the end of this year but he still looks pretty similar to how he appeared in the first three movies. I mean they are making all of those damned direct to video and cable sequels for the "Hellraiser" movies. "Candyman" deserves some kind of an effort also (only with Todd though; not some last-minute replacement). I don't want something to happen like Wesley Snipes getting replaced by Sticky Fingaz for the "Blade" TV series.

It doesn't really say much but if you go here:

Tony Todd talks about it. Definitely read what he said on October 13. I know it's long but everyone can handle it.

NO NO NO!!!
They shouldn't make a Candyman 4 it would be so bad. All a movie needs is one crap sequel and it just goes downhill from there, especially with horror movies. After the Candyman 3 I don't think the Candyman franchise can be redeemed. -

If they are going with another Candyman Movie, I think they need to remake the first one. I know normally people don't like remakes but if they want to get good ticket sales they are going to need to make it sound fresh and a new horror because most people haven't even heard of Candyman unfortunately. But I definitely agree that Tony needs to be cast as Candyman.

i think they should make another and making it scarier than ever.
I'd love to see another sequel and also I'd love to see a Prequel, giving more detail about how he became candyman, I mean, i know it was revealed in the 2nd one, but I would love to see a prequel as well as another sequel. -

If it is anything like the last one then hears hoping not. I always love to see Tony Todd pop up here and there though. The guy must be a workaholic but in that good kind of way. Well for the most part. Some of the stuff that he does is plain ol' god awful that is for sure.

F-ck Candyman. Why does everyone have to typecast him all the time? It's been ages since Candyman and I thought his role in The Rock rocked! He's a good actor and should get other parts then science fiction crap.

If they do make a 4 then it should definitely be a prequel AND include Tony Todd and Clive Barker. 3 did suck (I bought it on DVD and still have yet to get through the whole thing without falling asleep) so a prequel would redeem it. Candyman and his role in the Living Dead movie are his best. He's good in The Rock, but kinda a jerk, but I guess that's the point.
