My niece sees the picture I have of Tony Todd & I, and she gets scared. She has seen the Candyman movies, so when she first saw the picture she thought he was gonna come out and get her. I had to tell her that that is only a character, and that he is a very nice man.

i met him earlier this month at dragon con in atlanta. he is a really nice guy and loved talking to people and fielding questions about his work even if they are very redundant and has to tell people the same answers over and over.
i think he'll be down in orlando florida at screamfest in october -

So,
My roommate was at a bar here in New York and he came up to him asking him for directions. My roommate goes, "Holy beep you're Commander Kurn." I think he's so used to getting recognized as Candyman he was sort of taken aback and impressed (cuz my roommate's an actor/model and doesn't relaly look like your stereotypical Trekkie). Anyway, they went to some bar together and he was buying my roommate drinks and they were talking for awhile and loaning each other cigarettes and stuff.
He sounds like a real cool cat.

I met him in a bar when he was in my hometown at that time for a convention. He actually adressed me and grabbed my arm when I was walking by and I can tell you it scared the heck out of me when he grabbed my arm that second. I mean - I knew this guy as the CANDYMAN! But he started talking to me in this unbelievably deep voice and he was very kind and very charming and I have to say he really is one of the nicest and sweetest guys I ever met.

I met him at Screamfest last year. I was totally intimidated at first because he's a creepy dude in movies, but he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He and I talked for a while. He asked about my schooling and what I wanted to do for college and such. I told him I was planning on going to school for Special Effects and he was like, "That is awesome! We need more people like you in this business! Without you people, these movies would be beep It was very encouraging and I appreciated it more than he knew.

All in all, he's an awesome person and I would love to meet him again. -

I met him at Rock N Shock, last weekend, and he was easily one of the coolest actors I've met. He seemed like he genunially enjoys interacting with the fans.

We met him years ago and he's one of the nicest people you'd want to meet - and we've met hundreds of actors/actresses. My husband was asking him to sign one of those Star Trek collector cards and he was examining it and saying how he had never seen that one before. Sucked to be the people behind us, but Tony seems to care about each and every one of his fans and is proud of every role he's done.
Defineitly go see him if you have a chance.
