I met him at Screamfest last year. I was totally intimidated at first because he's a creepy dude in movies, but he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He and I talked for a while. He asked about my schooling and what I wanted to do for college and such. I told him I was planning on going to school for Special Effects and he was like, "That is awesome! We need more people like you in this business! Without you people, these movies would be beep It was very encouraging and I appreciated it more than he knew. 🙂
All in all, he's an awesome person and I would love to meet him again.

I met him at Rock N Shock, last weekend, and he was easily one of the coolest actors I've met. He seemed like he genunially enjoys interacting with the fans.

I met him at a horror convention last week. Really nice guy. He liked my glasses too.

He didn't charge me to get a pic with him. He even had to show me how to use the camera. My camera was acting all funky, and he fixed it.

You all are so lucky to have met him.. I loved watching him growing up. I really liked him in the remake of night of the living dead. He seems like a really nice man. Congrats to you all.

We met him years ago and he's one of the nicest people you'd want to meet - and we've met hundreds of actors/actresses. My husband was asking him to sign one of those Star Trek collector cards and he was examining it and saying how he had never seen that one before. Sucked to be the people behind us, but Tony seems to care about each and every one of his fans and is proud of every role he's done.
Defineitly go see him if you have a chance.

Hey guys/gals - I got a chance to meet Tony at the Mad Monster Party here in Charlotte this past Friday. He was a nice guy, very engaging, BUT.he does like his money. My buddy had him sign one of his 8 x 10 photos, which was $20. I then had him sign my DVD cover of HATCHET & my Hatchet T-shirt which I had purchased off of eBay a couple years back. I said "$20 right?" He says "$40".now I'm thinking, in this crap economy & it took a whooping 10 seconds to "sign" my T-shirt - which actually looks more like a print than a signature by the way - and he pops me with $20 extra bucks. Needless to say I was a bit taken aback. No one else at the convention charged me extra for signing more than item, just Tony. Needless to say, I'm less of a fan now & if anyone who is a huge Tony Todd fan wants a used (I've worn & washed the shirt probably 6-7 times so its far from new) autographed Tony Todd Hatchet shirt, I'll sell it for $25, including s/h. The shirt cost me $12 off of eBay a few years back & the autograph cost me $20 so I'm selling it at a loss. If you want it, please send an email: ccc62371@hotmail.com

I met him at Mad monster Party too and he was the nicest guest there. Tal2000ked to him for about 20 minutes on sunday when things were slow. He also tried to give me a free autographed pic to make up for some things at the con that didn't go right. I didn't take it but was touched that he would offer, wasn't his fault about the things that had gone wrong. Every guest I went to charged for each piece you wanted signed and it's been that way for a long time at all the cons I go to. At MMP I met Rutger Hauer ($40 for each autograph and $30 to get a pic with him) Stephen Geoffreys, P.J. Soles, Mary Woronov, Marky Ramone all of whom charged for each autograph but would take a free pic.
It suxx to have to pay so much but thats the way all conventions have gotten I'd say since about 03' or so. I remember the days when stars signed for free to promote themselves but the collectors market changed all that.

I don't have a problem with paying for autograph especially if it is an autograph i really want.

That's quite normal though, you usually pay per autograph. I've rarely met actors who did it differently.

I just met him too this weekend in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was incredibly charming and sweet (and he smelled wonderful too!). I wanted to meet him to tell him how special "The Visitor" episode is to me (from Deep Space Nine). When I shared that with him, he kindly shared a story with me about a personal loss he experienced and how that helped him with that role. It was very moving. When I got a little emotional, he came out from behind his table and hugged on me. 🙂 Then we took some pictures; quite unexpectedly, he leaned in and gave me a sweet kiss on my cheek. It was awesome, and I walked away beaming and so impressed with such a charming and lovely man who can connect so well with his fans. He is awesome.

It's been a number of years ago but he used to date a bartender in a bar in Hollywood I used to frequent. I met him there a couple of times when he stopped in to say hello to her. Nice guy.

I love how actors who play some of the most demented villains are really sweet people in real life.
