Hellboy 3 without a doubt needs to happen and happen soon. Ron Perlman and Selma Blair are not getting any younger. Considering the pregnancy cliff hanger at the end of 2, i think Selma Blair would need to be in 3.
Pacific Rim 2 would no doubt be a fun movie and i loved the story of the first one but the ending was self contained. So it doesn't need to happen right away.

Pacific Rim 2 without a doubt for me the first one is one of my favorite movies it's my favorite genre Giant Monsters/Kaiju movies.

I didn't care for Pacific Rim, but I enjoyed the Hellboy movies. So given the choice Hellboy 3 easily.

While I prefer Pacific Rim I also really like Hellboy hopefully Pacific Rim 2 does well it might mean good news for Hellboy 3. Here's the link to an article about how Pacific Rim 2 success could help Hellboy 3.
