I'm five years younger than Justin, and I know perfectly well what most members of older generations think of my generation. Unfortunately, all he's doing is living up to the stereotypes of my generation rather than showing that he can win on his own (without Daddy's name to help him). I doubt that he'll be getting my vote. So far, I'm going with Harper, unless he says/does something that will make me change my mind. But Justin doesn't do a great job of representing Generation X. Contrary to popular belief, my generation does work, and we do it with the knowledge that there are no pensions for us.

As an NDP supporter, I find it hilarious how people claim that the Liberals and Conservatives are not alike but they have no problem switching between either one once they tire of them. That Mouseland merry-go-round must get very dizzying. I was hoping this would really be the election for real change and the NDP would win.

I'm surprised that Trudeau actually got votes from folks old enough to remember his birth year.

I do get the impression that he got a lot of his party's votes from Millennials who influenced other Millennials on social media.

anyone that votes for george bush JR (Steven harper) are the real idiots.
do we really have to copy everything about the states inlcuding voting in a tyrant after already witnessing his continuous failures5b4.
id much rather vote for someone who actually cares about this country and its enviornments

And how many other politicians started out young and with little experience? They have to start sometime. What are they supposed to do, wait until they're 100?

They probably don't want to see anyone under the age of 50 holding jobs outside of the service industry.

Not really. I will admit I really underestimated the stupidity of the average Canadian voter though.

Ah well. The fact remains that my country is being run by someone who isn't a baby boomer. Something tells me that the world will continue to revolve around the sun.
And this is coming from someone (me) who didn't even vote for Justin Trudeau. I regret my decision; he's doing a good job so far. Next time I'll vote for him.
And if he's reading thisHappy 44th birthday, Mr. Trudeau!
