-* She did try a dance music career, however she didn't flop 'BIG TIME'. Her first single debuted at #1 in the UK and Australia. Her second single made #2.
-* Just because her single was no1 on the charts that doesnt make it a sucess. Look at how many bands have had a number one but still flopped and have never been heard from again
"2. She quit neighbours for the bigtime in US and best she's gotten in 4 years are bit parts on: CSI ( a dead person), Prison Break (s russian stripper) and a co starring role in a paris hilton movie..ah hum, house of wax anyone?"
-* She hasn't been trying to 'crack' the US for the last 4 years. She has been there barely a year and has already had 2 roles in feature films, one of them being a lead role in Dead Or Alive. She has had guest roles on: CSI NY, CSI Miami, Prison Break and Entourage all of which are some of the highest rating TV shows in the US.
-* A guest role isnt exaclty something to be proud of. And also a main role in DOA? True but the movie was beep

http://australian-charts.com/showitem.asp?interpret=Holly+Valance&titel=Footprints&cat=a - that link shows her chart history of her first album in Australia - only four weeks in the top 50 is really pitiful, especially considering how fellow NEIGHBOURS co star Delta Goodrem's debut album, released just a few months after Holly's, spent a massive twenty-nine weeks AT NUMBER ONE! Holly's second album did not even make the top 50 in Australia.

I agree with the thread starter, Holly is an arrogant, bitter, spoilt little girl who needs a slap. No 1 in the UK and Australia Nowhere else then? It wouldn't have had anything to do with the hype of being an ex-Neightbours star, or appearing half naked, doing238 suggestive poses on the music video would it?
At the end of the day Holly is just a small fish in a big pond, and her diva-like ways have been done 1000 times before and people quickly grow tired.
No wonder she's doing cheap reverse-charge call service ads nowadays.

How do you even know Holly is a spoilt girl, do you know her personally or just assume whatever the tabloids print is true. I don't think they'd print about someone just being boring and nice, they'd obviously twist it to make something out of nothing.
And the reverse charge call adverts were done in late 2004, so it's not exactly what she's doing now. -

holly is rude - everyone knows that. So that not really an issue. If you arent arrogant in this industry you tend to want to kill yourself within months.
Holly Valance needs to try harder to make herself known, as I agree only diehard fans know who she is.
As for the record dropping, she wasnt dropped her record label completely died and the only one the only person they cared about was Madonna as she is the money maker name.
Holly's attempts have been pretty bad, she needs to pull her socks up and actually do something worthwhile or she will become the bimbo that everyone already deems her.
This comes from a diehard Holly Valance fan which is saying something. If your fans begin to question you then you have issues that need sorting.
