Vanity's relationship w/ ex member Susan (V6 fame)

Just read Prince's current book and it talks about how he brought together Vanity 6. Mentioning Susan came on board being his then girlfriend while Brenda was introduced through a fello worker and Vanity was the last minute replacement for another girl.
Anyways back to my point ~ it stated how Prince was messing around with three women at the same time during these first few years of the group. He had his main girl Susan (waiting as a good girlfriend would), then he had a thing with Jill Jones (not too sure how long that relationship/affair was especially since she stayed within his association the longest out of the three), then there was Van5b4ity ~ whom the story stated probably was not aware of him messing around with more than just her (obviously she knew he was doing Susan wrong since both worked together via the group V6 and sure someone stated that Susan and him were an item).
It mentioned how during a tour he had his own private bus and during different time schedules of the day ~ each female would find their way to his bus. Obviously beknowest to the other one(s). I use to wonder about this ~ especially being that Vanity and Susan were in same group. I guess I assumed once V6 came about that him and Susan broke up (seeing that most of the stories I read in the past only claimed her as his HS sweetheart). For me ~ I'd would have issues with situation like that and wonder if the two ladies ever had discussions about the situation.
Does anyone know any other story behind this twist of events?
