Has anyone noticed how much vanity looks like Mrs. Huxtable from the cosby show?

YES YES!! I noticed that as well. I saw her last week on an old episode of "Soul Train" and I was like wow she looks like Philicia Rashad!!(sp).

LOL - I held my breath when I clicked238 on this thread.because I was half-expecting someone to reveal that Bill Cosby almost cast Vanity in the role of Clair Huxtable. Crisis averted - whew.
If Cosby was fine with Whitney Houston as Sondra - why not Vanity as Clair, right? More temptation to rape - seems like women with drug/drinking issues were attractive rape bait to him.
But as far as Vanity resembling Phylica Rashad - I don't really see it. At one point, I saw a resemblance between Vanity and Halle Berry, though - I thought of Vanity as a Halle Berry-type with long hair. 5b4

Agreed with the Vanity-Halle comparison, sort of face wise with Phylicia-Vanity, but anything else was way different, didnot know that Bill was thinking Whitney for Sondra Huxtable.

I thought the same thing.
I am unsure what type of rape victims Bill Cosby preferred. He liked to spike their drinks with strong sedatives. He may not have liked heavy drug users.
Vanity resembled Jayne Kennedy.
