Why did Vanity have to become a preacher? WHY did she have to become a born-again Christian?
Since she changed, Vanity's not the same anymore! She doesn't want to be called "Vanity", she hates her former career, plus she says that the old days sucked!
Normally, I have a better Christian attitude than this, but I have to put my foot down on this one.
Besides, no one will know who the old Vanity was except me, & all because of her preachy, holy, "vanity is nothingness" attitude!

Now that you mentioned all that, I guess it's all right. After all, I knew about the cocaine, but I didn't know her smile-faking or abusive father relationship or that she wasn't happy on the inside. I guess I'm not as upset over it anymore.

Yes, that's true.
Of course, the main reason I didn't think Vanity should have become a preacher (I think different now, though) is because I didn't know she had a bad childhood. Now that I do know that, it's easier for me to accept Miss William's new lifestyle.
