I find it interesting that both Patricia Velasquez and Leonor Varela both come from South America and have made for themselves in Hollywood by being cast as ancient Egyptian beauties. Then to add icing to the cake they were both cast as Marta in
Arrested Development
. Of course, much like their contemporary Salma Hayek, these ladies are under utilized in Hollywood.

Leonor Varela has a common beauty, Patricia Velasquez has uncommon beauty. I'll take the latter any day, plus she has a fantastic voice!
