reasons IMHO:- tony killed his twin brother in the first episode of season 2
- he later went to tony's house and pointed a gun at him in his kitchen which the feds observed (which means he could have been busted and blackmailed by the feds too)
- david chase decided it would be a good idea to have meadow date his kid (which will make things even more intense when tony has to whack him and alienate himself from meadow over it)

I think Paulie is the traitor in the finale. He's always secretly hated and resented Tony. He's an old timer that was around w/Johnny Boy and Junior back in the day and feels he should be boss by now. He mentored Tony, and Tony snaps at him all the time. Plus, he's always wanted to be in the NY family. And from what I've read, he (Tony Sirico) has it in his contract not to be a rat to the Feds, so I really doubt he's helping them. But he is kinda weasly. I can definitely see him as a traitor who ends up killing Tony. Or tries (and maybe fails).
