If Ralph Waite is Jethro Gibbs' dad, and Seeley Booth's grandpa, John-Boy Walton is Gibbs' brother, and Booth is the son of one of them, or a nephew.
Think of where this logic can take you, if you are willing to follow it far enough. I'm wondering if this makes Helen Hunt Booth's aunt. (from the Pamela Smart movie and Michael Learned)
