He brought optimism to a hopless place.
What drugs are you on? He was never optimistic about anything. His cup was always half-empty, never half-full. Life is short. Be content and happy. That's what Allah would have wanted from him. Instead, he fought for a lost cause and gave black muslims a bad name. None of the muslims ever seemed happy or content. Schillinger had more contentment and happiness in life than the muslims did. So did Ryan O'Reily. It's possible to be a criminal in a HORRIBLE place like prison yet still have the ability to laugh or smile about things.

The-Office makes me laugh. Schillenger got pleasure and happiness by a sadistic nazi twat who got his kicks by raping and toturing inmates.
For the record Said DID smile, times when he rejected the clemency from that piece of scum Governor Devlin, when Omar White sang and when that ugly aryan Robson had the "ghetto gums". In a place like a prison there is hardly much to smile about in general. I thought they portrayed him and muslims in a positive way. At least their group they try and prevent violence, against rape and helped bring spiritual enlightenment (even to stone cold killers like Jefferson Keane).
