In the early 1990s, I worked for a company based in Los Angeles that sent out electricians to homes and businesses that had power outages. Talked with lots of celebs on the telephone, and the worst was Burt Ward. I'm assuming it was the same Burt from BATMAN, it sounded like him. My electrician could not find the construction site where Burt was overseeing the building of his new home, and he was just FURIOUS that his contractor was sitting around shooting the bull with his guys on the clock. He laid into me with a fury that would rattle Mel Gibson's boots. I kept saying "Mr. Ward, I'm so sorry, we'll get somebody there" but he wasn't having any of it. He tore into me with that squeaky, boyish voice, I'll never forget it. Holy TV Tirade, Batman!

Maybe he was having a bad day? He just seems like such a calm guy, but you never know what someone is really like until you have to deal with them personally, huh?
            LOL at your last sentence!!

It sure feels good to laugh about it now. But oh boy, I was scarred emotionally by Burt Ward for months after that! Can you imagine? 🙂

Too bad you didn't say, "Holy temper tantrum! Calm yourself, citizen!"

I wish it had been Adam West who called that day. Now there's a gentleman!

I was his waiter in the mid-80's at The Palm restaurant in West Hollywood. He was an unbelievable ass. Incredibly conceited and rude to everyone. I will never forget what a haughty guy he was, and he was very fat by that time. He's even more enormous now.
