I never heard that. Robin seemed a little too close to Batman in the series, but I doubt Burt Ward's gay. Gay rumors get started all the time and aren't very often true.
But I'll check this post every now and then, because I'd like to know, too!

He staight and lives with his wife out west. Colorodo I think. I saw a article on him on ET where are they now. He runs a dog ranch. He takes in strays and breeds pure breeds. I think they said he sells them on the net. But anyway he is not gay.

However, Adam West apparently groped Burt and suggested a threesome containing himself, Burt Ward, and Yvonne Craig (batgirl). Made me look at Batman and Robin slightly differently.
BTW, this is from an interview about Burt's book, so it's coming straight from him. From what I've seen, that's as gay as he gets though.
Where'd you hear that stuff about him, anyway? I've looked, and I can't find anything saying he's gay.

The West thing does not surprise me. The gay rumor has been flying around since the 1930's. The fact that a grown man lived and worked so closely with a boy was "suspicious". It was actually started by an enemy of Bob Cane's as a ploy to discredit hi. This was furtherd in the late 50's and early 60s when comics came under attack as unamerican.

hheeheee i think this may be a result of somebody being envious of him..starting the gay rumour. Apparantly he's got a large package. So when hes nude hes a tripod.they were going to kick him off batman for it but apparantly special shorts were made to hide his bulbous member.
