Haven't seen Mr. Warden in anything of late. Has he retired? Sure do miss his acting.

Turns out his niece is on a listserv and she wrote me telling me he's "pretty much retired." He truly is one of the more interesting character actors. I've always loved his work.

He's a wonderful actor and I'm a great fan. Jwpeel-1, pls tell the lady that her uncle has millions of fans and we all wish him well!
Incidentally I read in a Playbill recently that he is living in the west forties in NYC, in the large apartment complex, Westway I think it is called, at 43rd and tenth.
Jack Warden was really special, an actor's actor.

I don't understand why the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences doesn't recognize supporting actors with honorary awards. I would think Jack deserves a "career" Oscar for all the scores of films he's made better and more watchable.
