    is with out a doubt, one of his greatest works ever!
    I always felt this album would have been worthy of a film version like The Wall.

      I do adore Amused to Death and have always felt it deserved more recognition. I'd put it above any of Gilmour's solo work, and The Final Cut.

        I really could not get into AtD.
        It was more like an endless series of socio-political diatribes than actual songs, much like what was on The Wall and The Final Cut, only now there was no one to reign Roger in from going overboard.
        But I thought the aural sounds of the television theme was a great update from the animals, radio stations, and phone recievers from previous Floyd albums.
        Limit of the Willing Suspension of Disbelief: directly proportional to its awesomeness.
