I think that I remember reading it in newspapers such as News of the World and The Sun. I was working on building sites and in warehouses and such labouring back then and there was always newspapers like that lying around…not to mention lots of lairy men who enjoyed naked women and football.

Well the places where I worked, the staff would often take one of this newspapers into the toilet with them for ‘a cheeky toss’ and they would be there ages! I never agreed with it but it but it never mattered what I thought.

You’ve just reminded me of ‘chippy day’.
They would send me out to the nearest chippy with the list and I would get back and they would shout at me for getting their orders wrong and not putting enough salt and vinegar on or too much or they would go mad if they asked for ‘tommy sauce’ and I forgot it and then after all of that they just pissed about for the rest of the day chucking chippy paper at me.
