The problem with Emma Watson's campaign for feminism was that she didn't get arrested for it. Someone is not truly fighting injustice unless she gets arrested for it.
Did she lose a job b/c she stood for her principles? We don't knowshe never said she lost a job b/c of it. If anything she is losing jobs now b/c feminism is now her platform and it's not inspiringjust safe. -

Feminism has never been about equality. You use voting as an example. You know why a number of women had no interest in the vote originally? Because they worried it'd mean they'd have to die in a war too. Men have had an obligation attached to their right to vote since basically forever. Until just this year (or last year I suppose) women had no obligation attached to their right to vote. Now it doesn't matter though. I doubt we'll see another draft.
Another common ruse is the "patriarchal" idea that women are caretakers and that's why women get custody after a divorce. Look up the tender years doctrine. It's a lovely little feminist creation. You know what happened before the tender years doctrine was introduced? Fathers primarily got custody because they had the obligation to p238rovide for their children. After the tender years doctrine creeped into law, fathers still have to provide financial support, but don't get custody. This was not an accident.
In non-reciprocal domestic violence cases for heterosexual couples, who is the perpetrator in the majority of cases? The woman. If only one parent is abusive to a child, which one is it? The mother. But who is labeled the violent savage?
Female same sex couples have the second highest probability of domestic violence behind bisexual women. Male same sex couples have5b4 the lowest. Bisexual males have a higher chance than heterosexual women.
Then we get introduced to myths such as the wage gap; taking an average of all earnings of women and all earnings of men, and seeing that when you average everything together there's a discrepancy. It ignores studies finding that single women are out-earning men at the same age in the same jobs.
Now it has also included such "horrible" things as manspreading, manthreading, mansplaining, AC being sexist, and science being objective instead of subjective. -

When I was a child my grandmother told me that if you made a wish whilst blowing on a dandelion then just like magic; your wish would come true and you'd get what you wanted.
I'll be honest here and say I never tried to do this so I have no clue if it's true but I think this is as good of a time as any to try it out.
I couldn't find any dandelions however I did wish really hard for the quotes above to be true. If everyone else wished really hard too and even if some of you managed to get hold of some dandelions then even better.
If we've all wished hard enough then tomorrow morning when I wake up perhaps the majority of domestic violence perpetrators will be womenand of course the rest of the twaddle you mentioned in your post will come true too
Everybody blow those dandelions and wish
Come on now, this is for Squirrel. -

I believe initially feminism started to empower women who were oppressed, like not allowed to vote, treated as property, etc., But now feminists are concerned about going topless or "man-hating". There are still parts of the world, where women aren't treated as people let alone equals. Shouldn't the real feminists advocating rights, where women really need a voice?
well said!
