Emma Watson acting skills are at Emma Roberts level

I think Emma Roberts is a much better actress than Emma Watson. As someone said "Emma Roberts can only play mean girls"at least she can play Mean Girls in a very believable way. I have seen zero films where I believed the commitment of intention of any of Emma Watson's characters. She joins one of those long list of actors who are intelligent but don't realize acting is not a heady process but an emotional one.

Emma Roberts was good in Nerve. I haven't really seen any of Emma Watson's work outside of some Harry Potter and Bling Ring, and she wasn't a strong actress to me. Emma Roberts would have killed it in Bling Ring, like you say she's pretty convincing in that kind of role. There were also moments in Coven where she was vulnerable. And I know many don't give comedy much credit, but she can hold her own with Jamie Lee Curtis in Scream Queens which is impressive. Emma Watson to me, even when she's giving her professional speeches, has this look of concern, worry, that she can never shake. It makes her look incredibly nervous in a lot of roles, even if the intention is not to be.
