This is not a fan board, indeed. But people like you, who are not, as it seems, fans of her, could try to at least express their opinions politely. I do not know if you are one of those who mindlessly throw hate in this board, but have you seen what's going on?
Which leads to another question of mine: if you are not a fan of hers, or someone who's willing to politely express th1c84eir critiques, then why are you here? Why do you stalk this board? Just to be agressive to the ones who appreciate the person this thread is dedicated to? -

One more time
- LEGITIMATE CRITICISM AND OBSERVATIONS DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY CONSTITUTE "HATE!"
- IMDB FORUMS ARE NOT "FAN BOARDS"NONE OF THEM ARE!

It seems you are the one who doesn't understand what I'm trying to tell you, and not the opposite.
I know it is not a fan board
!
Emma is no longer getting any job offers due to mere lack of talent
and to quote what you said
EW is a femtard spouting femtard BS And she fully deserves to be criticized for it.
Seriously? Is this "legitimate criticism" to you? If it does, well, I pitty you.
You appear to be quite illiterate, at least concerning the English language. Get to know your vocabulary before using it.
To help you, this is the meaning of the word legitimate (which you do not seem to understand), found in the Cambridge online dictionary:allowed by law, reasonable and acceptable.
Well, I can tell, none of the above is reasonable -

I suppose this is a possibility, but why should someone be jealous of a person they never met and never will be meeting? I mean, we all have celebrity crushes, but that's why we call it celebrity crushes, they are completely platonic.

was just being curious so checked this person's IMDb comments history. It seems they 238"legitimate critisize" a lot of female celebrities. So I suppose they just do not deserve our time. As you quote, against stupidity the gods themselves contend in vain

Unfortunately people say that beautiful is someone who is thin or talented or rich orBeautiful is someone who has beautiful soul!!Many people have beautiful souls but don't go around giving lectures.!!!I believe that in showbiz everything is a lie good or bad. There are many feminists unknown, many good actresses unknown !!!She is one of the most rich actresses, while other actresses better and prettier will never be known!!Finally ,she shouldn't play Belle!!!I completely disagree!!!
May it be a light for you in dark places when all other lights go out ~Galadriel -

@erlavari6-930-416949,
Great post there. I have no idea why so many people feel the need to be negative to celebrities, especially someone as pretty and talented as Emma Watson. Unless, that is, it's that age old need of those who are neither to tear down those who are both. For some reason, if you are attractive and talented (whether in high school, college, entertainment, or the business world) there are always people who try to make themselves feel better by tearing you down. I can't speak to the origins of the phenomena, just to its existence. And unfortunately, the anonymity of the internet encourages it.
If every single person on this site had to post a profile that showed who they were, where they lived, where they worked, etc, I can guarantee you that most of them would either not open their mouths at all, or would think twice before posting something because so much of it is absolutely shameful. But because no one knows who they are, they feel safe to spew the things that are lurking inside of them out into the light of day.
The best way to deal with them is to ignore them. Don't give their words validation by reading them or responding to them. Focus on those who truly do question things or are mostly positive.
Anyway, that's just my two cents. Thanks again for your thoughtful and well written post. Shows the kind of person you are.
I do not really care what others have to say. But, sometimes, I need to point how ridiculous it is. -

What you've basically said is she has a very small fan base and most people don't like her to the point they are livid about it, lol.
I don't think it's all her fault. She was a child star and acted like it in most of her promos growing up; so worried about not making the transition from child to adult actor she pushed it a little early. Instead of looking mature it came across as arrogant and vain to many. She's trying out adult roles now, but one problem is she can't swing it - she's 26 and looks 17. She's a good actor, but not great. Taking on these roles she isn't ready for hurts her career. Like most child actors, she was first hired to act like herself, because you can't expect a kid to be good enough to change their whole personality for a role. I think she has confused her acting skills with really good casting. If she would quit taking on complex/political/romantic roles and maybe take on a comedy or something light for awhile, more people would like her. I think she might have surrounded herself with people that might not have her best interests to heart, or maybe she really is vain. -

Watch her interviews from the time she turned about 20 and look at the body of work since HP, it's almost like she wants to star in serious art house indies playing the victim. With over 100 cameos and interviews to her credit - she has more experience being a celebrity than an actor. Personally? Hey, she has over 15 years in the business, I'd like to see her stretch in a performance. Maybe a different genre, she could use the exposure.
