3 tv FLOPS, no movies, poor choices now a bakery assistant
He'll never offer her an olive branch will he?
Personally I am glad. He's said in interviews he'd never again title a show after a
single
character - i.e.: Gellar was was a huge pain in the arse/diva to work with & he's glad Buffy ended and can continue to have her evolve in comic form.
He's gone on to have great success and be adored by fans the world over. And he's worked with many of his old cast chums. Sarah's career has been dead for the last decade, no fan base left bar a few diehards goose is cooked. -

Just because he prefers not to make shows with a single lead anymore doesnt mean he couldnt work with SMG again.
If he will have success well, hopefully ?

They were tense way before that.
SMG hated the show after the 3rd season and often times butted heads with Joss and the rest of the writers over the direction the show took. The only episodes she liked post season 3 were Hush and The Body which just so happen to be 2 of her favourites by the way.
The UPN years were their chance to finally get back at SMG for all of her complaining and they did.
As far as David Boreanaz goes he and Joss never liked each other from day one, in fact Joss had to get talked into hiring David to begin with. Joss even takes swipes at him on twitter occasionally as well.
Not only that but both David and Sarah felt like they never got the proper respect or appreciation that they both felt like they deserved from their work either which is one of many reasons why they've both on numerous occasions shut down any idea of them ever reprising their roles again. -

Then I'm sorry, but cheating on her still makes him a douche, even doucher (if there's such a word) by that lame explanations of his.
I say this being a hard Buffyverse fan and being a total Bangel shipper. -

16d0The thing is that Joss tends to get close to his actors and that's a reason you see them more often in his productions. Sarah and Joss were never close friends like he and Amy Acker for example, and there are stories of their tense relationship in
Buffy
. You've seen Acker in many of his films. Not the same with Gellar.
