Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Joss Whedon

Seriously. What if he went on donating money to the candidates he believes in, but kept his soap box in the basement?
What if he decided to express his philosophy and worldview allegorically, through his work, and not overtly, on YouTube and Twitter?
If Joss Whedon did that, would he have more fans these days or less?

He'd have more fans. This is the United States and he's allowed to have his opinions. He crosses the line by shoving his liberal, radical views on all of us.

You can say he has the right to free speech. Then I can say I will no longer support any of his films or television shows.

the funniest thing about Whedon and James Gunn and all those multi millionaires, like the Hulk actor, etc, is they are liberal so they are against capitalism, and they are against people making a lot of money…
boy oh boy if that doesn't end all…
