They turned her into a skank because she was with Bucky in the comics. was with Hawkeye, kissed Cap and now she's beep the Hulk!
So let me see if I'm following this. She had a boyfriend in the comics (Bucky), was close friends with another guy (Hawkeye), kissed another guy (Captain America), and fell in love with another (Dr. Bruce Banner) and that makes her a skank? It appears in your world a woman is only allowed to be friends with one man her entire life otherwise she's a "skank".
That's a weird version of feminism. Or it would be if it wasn't obvious you're just trolling.

I know. The new Amazing Spiderman stuck to the comics. I still ship Nat and Cap because Scarlet and Chris have done like six movies together and they're like close friends in real life
So basically what you're saying is Whedon is a hack because he didn't romantically pair up the FICTIONAL CHARACTERS you prefer to see paired up.

No. I'm saying he's a hack because he turned Black Widow into a damsel in distress, not to mention stripped her of her badass title thanks to that little HulkTasha ship (utterly lame!0, he killed off Quicksilver with a lame ass death and lied to his fans by saying he'd do a director's cut and went back on his word.

Okay, so Whedon sucks but his crimes against fandom would have to have better reasons than that. I'm not crazy about him either but your gripes are kind of weak sauce compared to the bigger picture.
