First, Betty White is a widow and she has no children. She has a love for animals. There is lots of proof that staying active, and in her case, learning lines and scripts keeps her brain and memory in tune. When people stop learning, stop reading, stop working in general they deteriorate. I'm not saying she doesn't have loved ones I know she has step children she keeps in touch with but she is also an only child, has no nieces or nephews. She has lived a full life though, no doubt. My friend's mother is 91 and mows her own lawn- she tries to do stuff like that to keep mobile and active. It is true though that Betty is likely starting to exhibit signs of being in her 90s but she has certainly been more active than most people her age. She's not in a wheelchair (like Nancy Reagan) so her continuing to work and act has no doubt played a role in her health and mobility at 94.

what about the fact that being in the limelight constantly and working long, hard hours and putting a lot of unneeded pressure on yourself accelerates a person's heart rate and accelerates that person's chance and likelihood of dying from a heart attack. I mean, there's a reason why people in their 70s and 80s don't have sex.

I think a sense of humor can offset those things. As far as sex in old age, many people remain sexual to a degree into their 90's.

maybe the most untrue, misguided, incorrect, nave, and ignorant statement ever made.

It's very much true, at least in the sense of masturbation.

You'd be surprised. Most just won't talk about it.

I'm sure there are porn sites with that sort of evidence on, Luke! You do realise Picasso was having children into his 70's, which obviously means he was still having sex!

Many normal, everyday people are still sexually active in their 70's, it's far from extremely rare! I'll certainly still be having sex if I'm still alive!

that's not true. if it were then I would hear about it happening all the time and it being the norm.

PMSL, so because people in their 70's don't come and tell you they're still having sex, it means they aren't? Wow, you're deluded!

no, you're deluded and deb68lusional in thinking that freaking 70 year olds or older still have sex. that's ridiculous. and you can make a fact something that you did or don't hear and I've almost never heard of anyone 70 or older having sex unless they have Viagra of some other sex drug.
