First of all you say leave him alone and in the next breath, you say poor guy.
He made a choice, out in public and he's not a poor guy because of it. Trust me, he's going to get more positive support than negative. I'm not a fan of public masturbation, but I respect he made a choice, right or wrong, and is taking it like a man, from what I read. He's still a great guy! -

Jaxi..well said. It is out in public in a movie theatre. Does the theatre have a sign up on the wall stating, public masturbation allowed? I'm sure it doesn't. Yes, sanitary concerns should be paramount. Who wants someone shooting their semen everywhere? I'm sure no one. But I'm curious, why were the police there? Could this have been an ongoing problem with Fred? I don't think we will ever find out. Why didn't he use a private room for this. And he must have known he would be recognized. Perhaps this a 16d0way to garner some attention.
There is a BIG difference between a "adult movie theater" and a regular "movie theater" He was NOT doing this at a matinee of Disney's Brave or The Avengers He was in an X-rated movie theater where EVERYONE in there was likely "choking the proverbial chicken" You may not approve of this behavior, but I've seen people post things like "Dear god what if a child had seen him" Seriously, they don't seem to get the point of these types of establishments. If the city allows these types of places to exist, it is just common sense as to what men do in there you may not like it, but seriously, police raid these places just to raid them for sport.
As far as sanitation, these theaters always employ people who have the fun job of moping down the theater with a bleach solution after every showing. -

The funny thing about this defense is if some televangelist suddenly called porn theaters lewd, the same people excusing Fred for acting lewd in a lewd location would suddenly say, "Wait, this is a business, there is NOTHING wrong with these theaters!"
So in that, this is a business, and in ANY business, whether it's an ice cream parlor or an adult theater, to pull out your dick and whack off is illegal.
