Andy and Claudine were divorced when she shot "Spider" Sabich.
What I can't understand is why he stood by her, and whyas an ardent Christiandidn't he petition the court for full custody of his children, considering hie ex was "living in sin" with Sabich. -

Perhaps he was there for her for the sake of the kids or he still loved her. -

You never know what goes on behind closed doors. They were legally separated and the incident happened after. Also, take into consideration that Mr. Williams and Longet met when she was 18 and married barely a year later. What a dignifed man he was standing by her and supporting her through her trial and such.
