Congratulations, Mr. Wilson, on your award. You are more than deserving, and as Art Garfunkel said, "You are an architecht of Rock Music".
His music has spanned at least two or three generations.
Hootie and the Blowfish did okay with the songs, but no one did it like the Beach Boys. -

I got chills with Brian's part. I am 21 and I can't remember a time without Brian or the Beach Boys. I think he is sooo deserving of this honor. He is a musical wonder and a treasure. I am going to be one of those of this generation that will make sure his music will be carried on like my mother and father gave me.

Likewise, and I'm almost 19 at the time of this writing. Brian is a legendary genius, and I love Garfunkel's comment about him..it's so true!
