The best was a couple of years ago when Terry had clearly been on the pop, and as the programme went on his comments were getting more and more frank,238 about the tactical voting and everything. He'd be like "oo! who saw that one coming?!" and just burst into laughter, he was absolutely brilliant. We were crying with laughter, he was hysterical, so bitter and cynical, it was fab.
It's a bit of a tradition in our family now that alcohol is a vital part of the evening - it's the only way to tolerate the performances - but the commentary is asbolutely the best part, I agree entirely.

The best part is that he always manages to offend the host country and usually before the contest even starts. Then he has the front to go and boast about it on his radio show
There was a tribute to the Eurovision in Denmark recently and poor old Tel was really miffed that he didn't get an invite. I can't think why..

The highlight of any Wogan/Eurovision commentary was a few years back (I think Denmark?) when he constantly refered the hosts as "Dr Death and the Tooth Fairy". Apparently he got told to tone it down after that (and complaints from the host nation).
Drive George, drive! This one's got a coat hanger! -

Did you see him this year? He got funnier as the evening progressed. Could it have been the "liquid refreshments"?
Nobody was safe from his acid wit, hilarious!

He is OK but he waits for people to laugh and tries too hard to make us laugh, I personally think he is NOT funny and should get the sack, he is and awful presenter.
"sir terry" who the hell would knight HIM???? -

what a load of fcking bollocks, plenty of people actually like to enjoy the acts - if other people want to be serious about it GOOD FOR THEM not everyone watches it for someone to make rude hypocritical remarks (never has the guts to slag UK or Ireland, oh I wonder why?) w@nker.

why don`t you take your rude responses somewhere else f ucking c untface, a lot of esc can be silly but some i can see are serious. you are just a rude impatient narrow minded twat with a "it is coz i say so" mentality. just bugger off. why should it for example be any more acceptable to take football more seriously watching overpaid ugly scumbags like rooney?
All because I said I didn't like the Eurovision song contest.
